"The Me Project"

When: Wednesday Nights
Where: Tacos and Beer (exit 11)
Time: 7pm.
What: The Me Project by Kathi Lipp

Is there a way for a woman to pursue her dream that honors God and, at the same time, to balance all the other roles of her life?

Is it selfish for you to want more, or could it possibly be that the feeling is from God-that you were created to honor God and serve Him in other ways besides caring for a family and bringing home a paycheck?

"It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ...he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone." (Ephesians 1:11)

The purpose of The Me Project is to help you accomplish just that- to help you determine not only what your God-given talents and passions are, but also to come up with realistic steps and a timeline to help you achieve all God intends for your life.

What life has God uniquely created me for??

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

One of our big jobs here on earth is to figure out what those plans are.

Starting the Me Project:

*Brainstorm 50 things that you would like to do in the next 50 years.

*Be very free in what you write down!

*Trust these are between you and God.

*Once a month peruse the list and update any progress towards goals.

*Pick ONE to do the Me Project with.

NINE QUICK STEPS:

*Pick a goal-any goal

*Get a journal

*Read through all the projects

*Find accountability partners

*Sign the Accountability Covenant

*Decide on a start date

*Come up with your plan

*Share your project plan with your accountability

*Be flexible
